Torches are remarkably useful on nights with no moon,
though of course a "full moon" hash is something to be remembered for
life. This is especially so in the snow, when spotting the dust can make the
trail a life sentence, if flour is used.
'Beer Stops' are, on some
occasions, replaced by 'glue-vine' stops and 'hot steaming moose stew' is not
unfamiliar to us!
